I'm a third-year Computer and Electrical Engineering student at the University of Virginia with several years of experience tutoring students from kindergarten through college. I'm passionate about helping students feel confident in math by meeting them where they are and building a strong foundation step by step.
In high school, I tutored peers through the Math Honor Society in Algebra, Pre-Calculus, and AP Calculus. I also spent nearly two years at Kumon, supporting K-12 students in reading and math. There, I taught them basic skills like counting and comprehension to more advanced topics like early calculus.
Today, I specialize in Algebra, Calculus, and Ordinary Differential Equations. At UVA, I work as a Teaching Assistant for ODEs, helping students break down complex material into manageable steps.
My tutoring style is patient, flexible, and student-centered. With younger students, I keep things simple and positive, using visuals and encouragement. With older students, I ask guiding questions to help them think through problems before offering direct support. My goal is always to help students truly understand what they're learning, not just memorize.
Outside of academics, I love shopping, going to the cinema, and trying new restaurants.
