With a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and decades of experience writing, mentoring, and leading creative learning programs, I bring both structure and heart to every tutoring session.

My background includes founding and directing a youth playwriting festival, where I guided students through the process of shaping their ideas into full-stage productions. I've also written and published multiple books, created educational video series, and designed comprehensive workbooks as part of my trauma-informed coaching programs. All of this has taught me how to meet learners exactly where they are with patience, encouragement, and a step-by-step approach that helps them feel capable and supported.

I tutor English, writing, grammar, reading comprehension, and creative expression from elementary to adult levels. My favorite subject to tutor is writing, because it's not just about grammar it's about helping students discover their voice and use it with confidence. Whether we're brainstorming a story, refining a paragraph, or breaking down a tough reading assignment, I work to create a safe and empowering space for students to explore and grow.
