Hello! I am currently working towards my Bachelor of Arts in both Math and English at Amherst College. My experience as a tutor started in high school, and now I tutor college students at the university level. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about early mathematics and the foundations of essay writing and critical reading skills. My best experiences come when students have that "click," which is what I call the moment when the subject just starts making sense to them. My philosophy is simple -- everyone can learn; they just need a little push forward. And I enjoy being the person next to a smiling student who understands that they can succeed. Outside of academics, I enjoy recreational sports like basketball and volleyball. I also enjoy the simplicity of board games and family time.
