I am an ESL educator specializing in language and reading instruction for both adults and children. I have tutored ESL children for over a decade and was also an adult ESL instructor at the local community college for a few years. I enjoy helping adults and children learn English in a way that works for them!

During my first time with an individual, I do a reading assessment to identify their language and reading needs. In addition to children's assessments, I communicate with the student's parents and teachers to learn of any specific concerns and recommendations. I then customize an improvement plan for each person's learning style.

My lessons are fun and use many ways to learn - listening, speaking, reading, writing, and games. I use easy-to-understand materials that help students feel good about learning English. I am knowledgeable of all elementary school subjects, as well as help with homework and school projects.
