Hi! I'm a passionate and approachable tutor with a strong background in life sciences. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences, cum laude, from Fordham University in 2022, where I minored in Bioethics. My Cell and Molecular Biology concentration allowed me to study topics like genetics, biochemistry, microbiology, neuroscience, and virology. I also explored the ethical side of science through classes like philosophical ethics, neuroethics, healthcare justice, and ethics in research, which gave me a well-rounded perspective on the intersection of biology, society, and medicine.
Now, I'm pursuing my VMD degree at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. My coursework includes anatomy, physiology, immunology, reproductive biology, and neurobiology. These studies have strengthened my scientific knowledge and ability to explain complex material clearly.
My favorite subject to teach is physiology; I love exploring how the body works on both the systems and molecular levels. I also enjoy tutoring in broader life sciences, social sciences, and bioethics. I believe learning should be engaging and personalized, so I adapt my style using visual aids, analogies, and student-centered strategies to make tough topics feel manageable. What I love most about tutoring is the opportunity to share my enthusiasm for science and help students build confidence in their understanding.
When I'm not studying or tutoring, you can find me hanging out with my three cats and dog, catching live music, or enjoying the outdoors. I'm excited to support you on your academic journeylet's make learning fun and meaningful!
