I am a recent graduate of Emory University, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Physics. While completing my degree, I developed a strong passion for math and science education, both through my coursework and through my work supporting students outside the classroom.

My tutoring experience began in my hometown library, where I created and led a free math and science tutoring program for students of all ages. I've worked with everyone from elementary school children to adults preparing for their GED, and I've learned how to adapt my teaching style to meet a wide variety of learning needs. During college, I also served as a peer tutor for Calculus II, working closely with students to strengthen their understanding of core concepts and problem-solving techniques. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I created a video series of hands-on science experiments using household items, designed to keep young learners engaged and curious while learning from home.

While I tutor a range of subjects, I am most passionate about biology, physics, math, and chemistry. I especially enjoy helping students connect abstract concepts to real-life examples, making science and math both accessible and exciting. I believe that with the right support and approach, any student can build confidence and succeed in STEM subjects.

My tutoring style is patient, encouraging, and focused on helping students truly understand the material rather than just memorizing it. I aim to create a positive, low-stress learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and thinking critically.
