Certified Tutor
Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have always believed in the power of connection between people, between ideas, and between opportunities and action. I am passionate about building relationships, mentoring others, and fostering a sense of community wherever I go.
My background combines a deep commitment to excellence with a genuine desire to support and inspire others. I pursued my undergraduate degree with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry, following a Pre-Med track that challenged me intellectually while also reinforcing my dedication to service. Along the way, I engaged deeply in research, leadership, and teaching, experiences that taught me to approach challenges with curiosity, resilience, and a collaborative spirit.
As a Teaching Assistant for General Chemistry, I discovered the rewarding experience of helping students unlock their potential. By leading discussion sessions and offering individualized support, I realized that mentorship is not just about conveying information it's about empowering others to find their own voice and confidence. My time in the Microbiology Research Lab further strengthened my ability to think critically and work persistently, both independently and as part of a team.
Outside of academics, I have always sought opportunities to serve and connect. Through my involvement in the Rotary Club, I learned firsthand the importance of community service and global citizenship. Prior to college, years of playing competitive travel softball and studying the cello taught me discipline, teamwork, and the importance of continuous self-improvement.
These experiences have shaped who I am: someone who strives for excellence while never losing sight of the human connections that make achievement meaningful. I am excited to meet and work with new students, to share my experiences, and to learn from theirs. Together, I believe we can build a vibrant and supportive community where everyone has the tools and encouragement to succeed.
