I'm a proud graduate of North Carolina State University home of the Wolfpack where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. My career began in the pharmaceutical and medical industries as a research scientist, but I discovered my true calling when I returned to NCSU for post-graduate coursework and had the opportunity to teach freshman chemistry lab. That experience sparked a passion for teaching that has fueled my journey as an educator for the past 21 years.

I specialize in tutoring math and science, with a particular love for Mathematics. Over the years, I've supported students in areas ranging from ACT/SAT preparation and state testing to homework coaching and subject-specific tutoring. My goal is always the same: to help students thrive academically by building their confidence, strengthening their content knowledge, and equipping them with the skills they need to succeed.

I take pride in forming strong, lasting connections with my students, often guiding them through multiple semesters. I make it a priority to understand who they are as individualswhat motivates them, what challenges them, and what makes them unique.

When I'm not teaching, you can find me enjoying time with family and friends, attending concerts and sporting events, relaxing at the beach, or catching rocket launches.
