I earned my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Arizona State University and have spent the past several years teaching third grade in a public school setting. This experience has allowed me to work closely with students from diverse backgrounds and varying academic abilities, helping each one grow into confident, capable learners. I believe that every child deserves the opportunity to succeed, and I'm passionate about creating a supportive, engaging environment that helps make that possible.

While I am equipped to tutor across all core elementary subjects, I am especially enthusiastic about math and reading. I love guiding students through the "aha" momentswhether it's mastering multiplication or finally connecting with a book they enjoy. These are the moments that build lifelong learners. My teaching philosophy centers on patience, encouragement, and adaptability. I tailor each session to meet the student where they are, using clear explanations, hands-on strategies, and positive reinforcement to build both skill and confidence.

Outside the classroom, I enjoy hiking, painting, playing pickle ball, and exploring new ways to make learning more creative and enjoyable. These interests often inform my teaching, as I bring a sense of curiosity and fun into every lesson.
