I am a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. I received a Bachelor of Arts in History and English and have worked since then as a journalist and photographer. I have extensive writing experience and am passionate about advocacy and learning. I am a proponent of teaching the skills necessary for students to understand the process behind any subject and to apply these skills themselves.

I've had a lot of experience with standardized tests, such as AP testing and the SATs, and I have strong abilities in primary and secondary math. I tutor History, English, SAT prep, and primary and secondary math up to Pre-Calculus.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, cycling and spending time outdoors.
