I am a graduate of Penn State University, Seattle University and Emory University. I received my Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology with a focus on Industrial Psychology, a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) with a focus on Public Policy and Management and a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) with a focus on Adult Education and Multiculturalism. In January of 2025 I also completed a Paralegal Certificate. Over the years I have taught hundreds of courses and tutored, coached and mentored thousands of students, ranging in age from 17 to 70! While I tutor a broad variety of subjects, I am most passionate about Writing, Psychology, and Business (in particular Management and Leadership). I also excel in teaching general study and test-taking skills. I am a firm believer in education and am a life long learner, and I have tutored, taught and been a student in both classroom and virtual environments for over 15 years. Learning is absolutely necessary to high quality of life (and to succeed in your profession), and I try to impart this belief to all of my students. In my spare time, I enjoy going to coffee shops, exercising (especially yoga, hiking and tennis) and spending time with my rescue dog, Carlo. I also love to travel, and have been to 23 countries and 32 states so far!
