Hello my name is Tatiana Burgess. I am currently a elementary teacher in Baltimore City Schools. I have a passion for teaching English Literature and teaching others how to read. I have a bachelors degree in secondary English Education from University of Delaware and a masters degree in Elementary Education and certified in Special Education from Johns Hopkins University. Outside of teaching I teach kids ages 2-13 self defensive and I myself train in self defense, jiu-jitsu, judo and muay thai kickboxing. I love reading and listening to audiobooks. To clear my mind I do arts and crafts like painting and attempting to learn to knit/crochet. I have been playing musical instruments since I was 10, and I currently play 3 different instruments.
