There's something incredibly special about helping students build the confidence to learn. I see it as unlocking doorsnot just to academic success, but to a deeper sense of pride and self-understanding. Having faced my own challenges in learning, I know just how important confidence is in that journey.

My tutoring experience began back in high school and has grown over the years through my work as an instructional librarian and graduate teaching assistant. I've had the joy of working with students of all ages, and nothing compares to the moment when something clicks and you can see that spark of understanding and excitement.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Mount Saint Vincent University, along with Master's degrees in Library and Information Science (Catholic University of America) and Health Information Science (Western University). These paths have given me a strong interdisciplinary foundation and a deep appreciation for how people access and engage with information.

In my tutoring, I take an inclusive, flexible approach. Everyone learns differently, and I love helping students find what works for themwhether that's using digital tools, talking through ideas, or breaking things down into manageable steps. It's all about meeting learners where they are and supporting them in moving forward with confidence.

Outside of academics, I find joy in listening to live musicespecially jazz and classicaland exploring movement through contact improvisation, lindy hop, and Cuban dance. I'm also passionate about personal growth and have been exploring how shifting limiting beliefs can open up new possibilities, in learning and in life.
