I'm originally from Brazil and moved to the United States nearly 20 years ago without speaking English. Learning a new language from scratch in a new country was one of the biggest challenges of my life and it became one of the most rewarding. That experience taught me resilience, patience, and the power of education. It also sparked my passion for helping others learn and grow with confidence.
Throughout college, I often found myself tutoring classmates in subjects where I had a stronger understanding. I enjoyed breaking down the material in clear, simple ways that made it easier for others to grasp. I earned my Associate Degree in Architecture from Essex County College in New Jersey and my Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, which gave me a strong academic and creative foundation.
In addition to design, I'm currently pursuing a certification as a personal trainer because I love helping people become the best version of themselves physically, mentally, and academically. Whether it's guiding someone through a difficult topic or encouraging a healthier lifestyle, my goal is to support and uplift others in meaningful ways.
I offer tutoring in English, Portuguese, and conversational Spanish, along with technical subjects such as Microsoft Office, Revit (an architectural software), and Enscape (a rendering tool). My tutoring style is very direct, clear, and patient. I take time to explain in detail so students truly understand what they're learning.
Outside of tutoring, I love the outdoors hiking, kayaking, snorkeling, and road trips. I'm passionate about music, especially country and gospel, and my Christian faith plays a big role in how I live and serve others. I believe every person has the potential to grow, and I'm here to help guide that process with encouragement and care.
I'm excited to be part of your learning journey and would be honored to support your goals with knowledge, clarity, and motivation.
