I am a current Senior at Union College starting medical school in the fall. My major is a Biology and Psychology interdisciplinary major and physics minor. I am most passionate about teaching physics because I enjoy how the subject does not require rote memorization, but the understanding of a concept and how to apply it to a wide array of situations. My teaching style is definitely example based. I believe that new concepts are taught best through providing examples of how to apply them to a problem. I have seen this style work with my students who I've tutored for the past four years.
