I am passionate about teaching students, especially students who have previously had difficulty learning. I have been a special education teacher for almost 10 years and have taught elementary, middle, and high school. I have taught all subject areas such as reading, language arts, grammar, writing, math, science, and social studies. I particularly enjoy teaching/tutoring reading, writing, and grammar. I also enjoy working through math problems (up through Algebra 1) with students. I have Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Special Education as well as an Education Specialist Degree in Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis.
