I am a college Professor of English, which includes academic writing and literature primarily. I earned my Master's and Doctoral Degrees in English with an emphasis in American literature. I have been teaching at the college level for about 20 years. I believe that every student can develop their writing skills. More importantly, I approach writing as a learning skill, which means as you develop your writing skills, you simultaneously develop your learning skills necessary for both school and life. Studying literature is also a skill that anybody can develop and will also lead to better critical analysis skills necessary for any other purpose. I can also help students understand the logic of standardized tests and the best way to approach them. My goal is to support all learners!
