I graduated with a BA from Point Loma Nazarene University with a major in Writing and a minor in World Literature. I worked in various fields and positions before deciding to get my MA from the University of Leeds in the UK. In my MA program I studied Writing for Performance and Publication, and spent several years afterwards living in the UK as I worked on my PhD. Due to covid I was unfortunately unable to finish my studies as I had to return to the US, but I learned a lot in my time in the UK. I have tutored and been tutored at all levels from elementary through graduate level, and I feel I have a good understanding of the best practices and how to adapt for each individual's needs. I currently work as a proofreader for EisnerAmper, a global tax accounting firm, and I have a long job history of editing, proofreading, and writing from administrative positions. I often also help out friends and family at all levels of study. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my cats, study Korean, listen to k-pop, and do all sorts of crafts.
