I have always considered myself a lifelong learner, which led me to education. I hold an A.A. degree from St. Petersburg College, a B.S. in Organizational Management from Palm Beach Atlantic University, and an M.A. in Teacher Leadership in Curriculum and Instruction from Gardner-Webb University. Over the years, I have taught in private and public schools, homeschooled my children for a few years, and tutored online. My experience in teaching has been across all subject areas through sixth grade and math for seventh grade. I hold an NC license to teach K-6, AIG K-12, and as a Curriculum Specialist K-12. Teaching is a part of who I am, whether working with a student struggling to understand a math concept or struggling with comprehension. I aim to determine what works best for each individual and match my skills to help them.
