Hi, my name is Vusumuzi H.; a medicinal chemist and pharmaceutical scientist. I attained a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University at Buffalo, a Master's degree in Medicinal Chemistry from the University at Buffalo, a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University at Buffalo and am working towards a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences.

I have worked as a Teaching Assistant in General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Chemistry during my time as a graduate student at the University at Buffalo. I tutor students at the middle school level, high school level, undergraduate level and graduate level. My tutoring encompasses Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Pharmacology, Medicinal Chemistry and English Language. Chemistry has always been a passion of mine given I am a visual learner and I enjoy the challenges that learning science presents. Teaching has always been a zeal of mine. It is a privilege to help students work towards reaching their full potential academically. Professional sports and academics have instilled in me the importance of discipline, dedication and striving to reach your goals.

I seek to mentor students with the ambition of capturing their goals. Outside of academics I enjoy playing and coaching tennis, running, hiking, watching theater, traveling, photography and trying different coffees. I look forward to working with you.
