I am a student at the University of Pennsylvania majoring in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics and minoring in Journalistic Writing. I write for the student-run newspaper as well as the alumni magazine. I have always enjoyed reading and writing, which has been the majority of what I've been doing at Penn. I was a TA for my school's AP English Language class in my senior year of high school, so I have experience teaching students reading and writing to fit a certain exam style. I also was an assistant teacher at an elementary school for a year. Teaching English, whether that stringing letters together to read a word or writing a full-length essay about who the real monster in Mary Shelley's book Frankenstein is, has always brought me joy, even as I dive deeper into my own writing career. I love seeing students succeed in their exams and feeling more confident in their reading and writing.
