I received my Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) degree in Politics and International Studies from the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom. I received my Bachelor of Arts (B.A) degree from Purdue University in Political Science, with minors in Psychology, Public Policy, and Global Studies. I spent one year in Istanbul, Turkey as a U.S Fulbright Research Scholar and I worked at Harvard University as a Research Assistant, where I focused on international conflict resolution research. Over the years, my teaching experience has spanned various subject matters and students. I peer tutored during my high school and college days. I virtually tutored business education courses to school-aged entrepreneurs from forty different countries. I taught advanced English speaking and grammar courses to Syrian Refugees in Istanbul. I have led executive education classes for decision-makers in Armenia. Due to my educational background and professional experiences, I specialize in tutoring subject matters related to government, policy, politics, international relations, political science, and psychology at the high school, AP, and college levels. I am also passionate about helping students with their college applications. My teaching philosophy is student-centric and based on mutual respect. I believe that while the teacher is responsible for the educational progress of the student, teaching is a collaborative process. Hence, my goal as a teacher is to create a safe space for the students to comfortably ask questions and share their feedback regarding the intended outcomes and direction of the tutoring.
