I'm a student at the University of Rhode Island who is studying to gain a triple major in biotechnology, chemistry, and spanish. Ever since my high school times, I knew I wanted to focus my career into science and innovation, taking multiple AP classes for which include chemistry, biology, spanish, and American history. Scoring 5's on all the exams, I began to specialize by taking courses under my school's Career and Technology program that geared students towards more centralized study like one gets in college. By the time I got to my senior year, both students in my grade and those below asked me for assistance with their course work. Common testimony was good, with most seeing a substantial improvement in their GPAs when I started to tutor.

This knack for teaching continued into college, where I signed on to be a tutor for the University of Rhode Island's Academic Enhancement Center where I tutor both general and organic chemistry. I have received A's in every chemistry course I have taken at university, and continued to help those in my class that were having troubles with the material. To boost my drive for teaching outside of school, I have begun to develop an organic chemistry information website which will contain the variety of concepts found in organic chemistry, along with fully detailed mechanisms and practice problems.

Even taking examples outside of my primary focus, I am naturally a good test taker and gifted in my ability to impart information onto others in ways they are able to understand. Within my Calculus I and Calculus II courses, I received a near 100% for both, landing a 98% for both of them. This is while not necessarily the strongest at math, but as a note that I am able to put in the work to learn and fully understand a subject, even if outside of my areas of passion.
