I have been an educator for nearly the past decade teaching middle school English, reading, writing, and social studies courses. I earned my bachelor's degree in social science education and my master's degree in curriculum and instruction with a special methods in English - both from the University of North Florida. Over the course of my career, I have been a highly effective educator in both urban and suburban settings with direct experience remediating struggling learners and enhancing high performers. I am most passionate about fiction, nonfiction, poetry, writing, and history related courses including Civics, U.S. history, and world history. As a multidimensional educator, I am an expert in improving reading skills while simultaneously enhancing content knowledge.
