I am a fourth-year biochemistry major and have been a chemistry tutor on my campus for the past two years. I have a passion for science that goes beyond the classroom. I have conducted research at the undergraduate level for over two years and have been a teaching assistant in general chemistry and organic chemistry labs. I tutor chemistry (high school, general, organic, environmental) and biology (high school, introductory college courses, cellular and molecular biology).
Tutoring allows me to blend my love for science with my desire to help students succeed. I aim to create an inclusive, engaging environment where students feel comfortable exploring concepts and building confidence in their abilities. I encourage students to be unafraid of the unknown and to ask questions. My goal is to work with individuals to meet their learning styles best.
