Hello, I'm an English tutor with a passion for helping people, especially to help them master the English language.

I have tutored adult newcomers to Canada and I taught English grammar to college students.

When I was 4-years-old I played teacher to all my stuffed animals. Teaching has always been in my heart.

I have worked for 20 years writing instructions for various industries and I specialize in making complex subjects clear and easy to understand. I identify learning gaps and tailor my lessons to remove them.

I bring patience and collaborative energy to my teaching. Students learn best when they are supported in their efforts and allowed to glean knowledge from their mistakes and gain confidence from their successes. I tailor my teaching to my student's needs and learning styles. And I always learn from my students as well. They make me a better teacher.

I believe in a positive learning environment. I encourage my students to always try, and they know there are no wrong questions in my classroom.

My passion is in enabling student confidence and success. I hope we can work together soon.
