Education = Opportunity. Every student deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential and mathematics achievement should never be a barrier to their success. As a certified mathematics teacher in multiple states (AZ, HI, IN, KY, MI, NC, OK, TX) over the last 15 years, I have developed a toolbox of skills to help make even the most complex topics easier to understand for every type of student. Seeing the lightbulb moment when a student accomplishes a task or masters a topic they never thought possible is the highlight of my day. I have had the privilege of working with students as young as third grade all the way up to university level. I have helped students of all levels succeed in every level of mathematics many for the first time! I have an undergraduate degree in Mathematical Sciences, graduate degrees in Curriculum & Instruction and Mathematics Education (EC-18). I am currently working on completing two additional graduate degrees in Data Science and an MBA. Aside from tutoring and continuing education, I am an active volunteer in the foster system and passionate about music and performance.
