I'm currently a student in Augusta University's BS/MD program, working toward a degree in Cell and Molecular Biology. While academics are a big part of my life, I truly believe that education should be about more than just good gradesit should build confidence, spark curiosity, and empower students to think for themselves. That's the kind of energy I bring into every tutoring session.

I've worked with students of all ages and backgrounds, and I understand that every child learns differently. At Mathnasium, I focused on helping younger students develop strong foundational math skills in a way that felt fun and manageable, using positive reinforcement and games to keep them engaged. Through the National Girls Foundation, I had the opportunity to lead online STEM workshops designed to get middle school girls excited about science. Watching students go from hesitant and unsure to excited and eager to learn is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

I tutor a variety of subjects, including math, biology, chemistry, and writing, but biology is my favorite. It's amazing to show students how tiny molecular processes shape everything around usfrom the way we breathe to the way we heal. I love taking complex topics and turning them into simple, relatable concepts that actually stick. Whether a student is prepping for a big exam, catching up on missed concepts, or just needs a boost in confidence, I tailor my sessions to meet their specific goals and learning style.

My tutoring style is warm, patient, and student-centered. I focus on creating a low-pressure environment where students feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and take ownership of their learning. I believe that learning happens best when students feel supported and understood, so I always take the time to build trust and meet them where they are. I also encourage them to see their progress beyond the numberswhether it's becoming more organized, developing stronger study habits, or just feeling more confident when raising their hand in class.
