I am currently a second-year student pursuing my dual degrees in Biochemistry and Computer Science at the University of Arizona. As a first-generation college student, I understand the challenges many students face in navigating their academic journeys. My passion for helping students stems from my own experiences overcoming obstacles in school, and I'm committed to making learning more accessible and engaging for others.

I have experience working with students across various subjects, including math for all levels and science (especially because of my major in Biochemistry!). I find the most joy in tutoring chemistry and Algebra 1 and 2 because I love seeing students' confidence grow as they master new concepts. I focus on building a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring their learning potential.

My teaching philosophy centers on patience, active listening, and fostering critical thinking skills. I believe that every student learns differently, and I tailor my approach to meet their individual needs. Whether it's through breaking down complex ideas into manageable parts or encouraging students to approach problems from different angles, my goal is to help students gain both understanding and confidence.

Outside of academics, I enjoy playing tennis with friends and listening to music. These activities allow me to recharge and bring new energy into my tutoring sessions.
