I have been through four years of university, and I find a strong enjoyment in helping other students learn, especially those who are just entering the school atmosphere. I used to do more tutoring when I was in high school and middle school, but I engaged in helping other students in my college classes learn the material more efficiently. I got my first degree at Hillsborough Community College, then my other at the University of South Florida, both schools which are both located in Florida. I have an associate and a bachelor's degree, both centered around psychology. I am soon going to university for a master's in clinical psychology.

I am able to tutor mainly math, reading and writing, and psychology. I am very well-versed in psychology and reading/editing/writing are my favorite things to do. Reading comprehension is my specialty; I am actually currently writing a book, so grammar, spelling, and sentence structure is vital to me. I love to teach others about psychology because of how deeply I care for it, but I have always been excellent at writing. Professional, educated papers make sense to me.

I am strongly for the idea that tutoring sessions should be controlled by the student. If someone I am tutoring needs me to repeat the same problem 20 times, I am happy to ensure that they fully understand what they are meant to learn. I fully support any student who may struggle; they are just as intelligent as students who may understand the material quicker. There is no "smarter" or "better," simply "learning."

Again, I am writing a full novel that I plan to self-publish within the next year. I am spot-on with my grammar and general writing, so I completely understand how to teach others what they need to know. I am also an avid reader who has been reading since I could remember. There is nothing I enjoy more than writing, though.
