I believe that learning should be a tool for inquiry and opportunity to explore, question, and connect ideas in meaningful ways. My goal as a tutor is to spark curiosity, making learning an engaging and enjoyable process rather than just a task to complete. Every student has a unique way of understanding the world, and I strive to create an environment that encourages critical thinking, creativity, and confidence.

Tutoring at summer schools was not only a rewarding experience but also a valuable learning opportunity for me. It taught me how to meet students at their level, break down complex concepts into digestible pieces, and adapt my approach based on individual learning styles. In doing so, I strengthened my own understanding of the material, reinforcing my belief that teaching and learning go hand in hand.

With a strong foundation in science from my coursework in nutrition and child development at Cal Poly SLO, I have developed an interdisciplinary approach to understanding complex concepts. Now, as I prepare for the MCAT, I continue to deepen my knowledge in the hard sciences. I love connecting scientific principles to real-world applications, helping students not only grasp the material but also appreciate its significance.
