I am an HBCU graduate from Alcorn State University. I earned a Bachelors of Arts with a focus in English Literature. Since graduating, I have worked as a High School English Teacher. Although my role was focused in one subject, I have had the opportunity to work with students on a broad range of schoolwork including Biology, Chemistry, Algebra, Basic Math, Anatomy, Government, Economics, U.S and World History, Computers (Microsoft Suite), and of course, the English Language Arts. Although, I have experience in a vast field of study, I am most passionate about English and Math subjects. In my experience, a firm hold in these two areas have proven to be the key not only to a successful educational career but, to personal growth. It is my belief that education can take you anywhere. In my spare time, I find myself reading, writing for short stories and possible fiction works, mobile gaming, and researching current events.
