Being a teacher isn't an easy task, but luckily for me I have had several years of experience.
In High school I was a part-time teacher for English as a language classes for grades K-12. This covered, comprehension, reading, grammar, etc.
As a freshman in my undergrad I was a high school math tutor for all AP classes. And I was able to help students achieve high scores in their AP tests.
For the last 2 years I have been an instructor for Kumon, an after-school program focused on Math and Reading for ages 3 and up.
My true strength not only lies in being able to help students by meeting them where they're at, but also my extensive experience with varying levels of learning abilities. I myself have ADHD, so I know how frustrating it can be to learn when you feel like you simply can't.
