Retirement is enjoyable, but I miss the kids! Also I need additional money in order to save more towards end of life issues. Preplanning and having my father in a nursing home, has raised my awareness of these needs. Last summer I tutored a 13 year old and was reminded of how much I enjoy the process. I am grateful for your consideration. I received my BA from Southern Methodist University. Taught in Texas and Tennessee. I took master level courses in Special Education at University of Memphis. My specialty is Reading and Language Arts as far as tutoring experiences are concerned. Those are also my favorite because I consider good communication a paramount skill in our society today. My teaching style is based on a deep desire to help students learn. My sincerity is my strength. I do have a 10 year developed hobby of making handmade cards. This skill is useful in my church community.
