I love teaching and it's the only thing I have ever done. After graduating from college, my first job was to teach 7th and 8th grade English. I learned a lot and had a wonderful time with my students. After three years of teaching middle school, I moved on to teach high school English. Two years later, I began teaching college English.

In 2004, I moved from NY to Florida. I began teaching English at Valencia College shortly after moving to Florida. I have been at Valencia for about 20 years now. I am a tenured faculty and teach Writing and Literature.

I have a BA in English from Fordham University, and a MA in English from Iona College in New York. I completed my Ed.D (Doctorate in Education) in July 2016.

I love spending time with my husband and our two children. My daughter is a talented basketball player, and our son is a talented chess player. They keep us busy.
