I am a graduate of St. Stephen's College. I received my Bachelor of Science and Masters with a major in Chemistry and minor in Math and Physics. Since post graduation, I continued my studies to complete my Bachelor in Education and teach Chemistry at high school level. I also completed MBA from the University of Lynchburg in Virginia. I have traveled extensively, teaching and tutoring students ranging from not only elementary and middle but also high risk High School students in Denver Public Schools with Math (Pre Algebra, Linear Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Trignometry) filling in the opportunity gap and help bring students at grade level. I also created a structured program named, "Learn English through phonics." Knowledge of phonics allows an ESL learner to have a strong foundation in learning the English Language. I holded Texas Teachers Certification in middle school science (Grades 4 to 8). While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about test prep and certification exams. In my experience helping struggling students prepare for the standardized tests is important especially prepping for the math portions of the exams. I am a firm proponent of that teaching is a vocation and not a profession and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students and their achievements are my incentives. In my spare time, I enjoy meal preparation and cooking that which enriches my life including reading and singing.
