I am passionate about helping students learn because I enjoy seeing the progress and glee on a students face once the student gets passed their rough patch and the light bulb clicks on. This passion stems from a genuine desire to make a positive impact on students' lives, inspire their learning, and help them achieve their full potential.

My experience working with students spans one decade long, with an age range predominantly being 18-60 years old; I also have experience with elementary aged children.

I earned my education from Valencia College in Orlando, FL. I have an AS degree in Emergency Medical Services- with honors and an AA in Business Administration- with honors.

I also earned my Bachelor's degree in Health Studies- summa cum laude from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

I tutor medical based subjects such as, cardiology, medical terminology, pathophysiology, public health, sports, exercise, and health sciences, emergency medicine, medicine, pharmacology, study skills and organization skills.

I thoroughly enjoy tutoring all things medically related because I am fascinated with the human body and how wonderful and unique our bodies work to keep us going every day & night. I also enjoy tutoring study and organization skills because I enjoy seeing the positive changes a student makes once they are empowered with practical knowledge.

I would describe my teaching philosophy as student-centered, focusing on meeting the diverse needs and learning styles of each student to better their learning experience.

My tutoring style reflects a low-pressure approach and management of the student/group. I adapt my tutoring methods from feedback and evolve my educational practices to foster an engaging and effective learning experience.

Last, but not least of all, outside of academia I enjoy exercising several times a week and listening to audiobooks; combined they offer me a peace of mind and keep me sharp. As the old adage goes, iron sharpens iron.
