I am currently an undergrad student for Biology with a medical concentration at USF in my final year of my bachelors degree program. I wish to pursue a PhD in molecular or microbiology. I desire to pursue research jobs for biotechnology and aim to make advancements in the field to develop treatments for chronic diseases and contribute to our understanding of molecular and microbiology. My tutoring experience has been in guided study groups led personally by me for a few hour blocks at a time where I go over the necessary learning objectives in the course in detail. My approach is tailored to the group and I improvise my approach during each session depending on the groups/individuals understanding of the objectives. Tools I generally use are organic chemistry modeling kits, diagrams and PowerPoints with students. While my experience is exclusively with college students, I am open to an adaptive and personalized approach to High school and AP level courses.
