I am a former teacher of 5 years who is passionate about teaching and helping students find fulfillment in the pursuit of being lifelong learners. I was fortunate enough to have so many passionate teachers who influenced me immensely throughout my own education these teachers guided me and instilled in me the joy of learning new things, even in academic disciplines which I did not necessarily gravitate towards and did not come naturally to me. I believe education is important not only for knowledge of specific topics, but also for comprehending and interacting with the world around us on a daily basis. I strive to provide the same high quality of education that I received to those who I am teaching and learning alongside.

I graduated from Villanova University in 2016 with a majors in Secondary Education and History, as well as a minor in Irish Studies. I completed my student teaching at Norristown Area High School, and after graduating taught Algebra 1 and Latin 2 at Cristo Rey Philadelphia High School as part of their one-year Service Corps program. I then went on teach at John Bartram High School for 4 years, where I taught English, Creative Writing, African American History, US History, and Civics; as well as coached the Boys JV Basketball team.

I left teaching in 2021 after completing a Graduate Certificate in Brewing Science from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, in pursuit of starting a family business with my cousin. I have worked as a professional brewer and laboratory technician for the past 3 years, however my heart has always been in teaching and I am still very passionate about education and being a lifelong learner myself. I am excited work with students in the academic fields they hope to improve on, as well as guide them to find a passion for learning in a positive way through tutoring.
