I am a native Polish American and native speaker who has lived in the U.S. for 25 years. My linguistic journey began in Poland, where I started studying Russian in the 4th grade and continued through high school and university. Since moving to the United States, I have actively used Russian in social settings and maintained my proficiency through self-study.
Academically, I hold a degree in history from Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun, Poland, where I also studied ancient and medieval Latin. In addition to my historical studies at the University of West Florida in Pensacola FL, I pursued accounting at Wichita State University, where I honed my skills in financial analysis, auditing, and management accounting. This diverse educational background has provided me with a unique perspective and a strong analytical foundation.
My professional career has been primarily in accounting, where I worked for several years, leveraging my expertise to assist businesses in managing their finances and ensuring regulatory compliance. From 2018 to 2020, I tutored college students in accounting, helping them navigate complex financial concepts and achieve academic success. My tutoring sessions were characterized by a personalized approach, breaking down intricate topics into manageable segments to enhance student comprehension.
A year ago, I decided to leave the accounting profession and obtained my Florida real estate license. Additionally, I am a mother of four and have spent the past 18 years helping my children with their homework assignments, fostering a love for learning in our household.
