I received my Bachelor's degree from Alfred University. I also have a TEFL certification from the International TEFL academy. I have extensive knowledge with topics such as fine arts (photography, drawing, printmaking, ceramics, etc), astronomy, calculus, Greco-Roman archaeology, and Egyptology. I have taught students of all ages in a wide range of subjects. My teaching philosophy places students as the center of the learning experience. I find that ESL lessons in particular are enjoyable for the students when the lessons connect to their personal interests. Outside of academia, I enjoy drawing, roller skating, and ice skating.
