I am a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross, University of Notre Dame, and Princeton University. I received my degrees in Classics (Latin and Greek language and literature). I have taught extensively at levels from middle school to graduate school as well as continuing education and in a range of contexts from afterschool tutoring programs to university classrooms. In each of these settings, I have taught individuals as well as groups, and in every case I have tailored the lessons to meet everyone at their level and interests. I have taught and tutored a range of courses that have included English, History, Latin, Greek, German, and standardized test prep. While I enjoy working with students in any subject, I am most passionate about foreign languages and standardized tests. These courses in particular have clear and measurable outcomes by which progress can be tracked (and celebrated!). Helping people to meet their goals and to get the tools they need for success motivates me as a teacher.
