Hi everyone, I'm Matt! I have over 5 years of academic and SAT/ACT test prep tutoring experience, working with students from middle school through graduate school. I specialize in tutoring mathematics and SAT/ACT test prep, and I tutor economics, government, Spanish, and science as well. I am also a certified substitute teacher for my county. I've helped students who were struggling to pass their classes, turn everything around, and get A's on their exams. I am passionate about helping students with materials they are struggling with and showing them that it isn't as hard as they think it can be. Moreover, I have experience working with students with learning differences including ADHD, ASD, Dyslexia, and ODD. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Maryland and then continued on to earn my Master of Science in Economics from the University of Maryland as well. I have an exceptional ability to memorize, retain, and recall information, which helps immensely with my tutoring. I am especially gifted at breaking down seemingly complicated topics/problems into more digestible parts. I'm excited to work with you soon!
