When I was just a little girl, my mother told me I was going to be a teacher one day. During my childhood, I would often line up my baby dolls for many eventful teaching escapades! Fast forward to adulthood having over two decades of experiences spanning K-12 to postsecondary levels, my journey in education has been defined by a relentless pursuit of excellence and a deep-seated passion for fostering academic growth and personal development in every student.

I earned a MS in Educational Administration from California State University and a BA in Middle Grades Education from LaGrange College. My career has been enriched by diverse experiences. I served as an English Language Arts teacher,as well as, Department Chair. It was during this time that I was also honored to be chosen as a member of the School Governance Council.

I am most proud of and deeply committed to creating inclusive learning environments that cater to the diverse backgrounds of EVERY student. I am certified in Talented & Gifted education,
as well as, endorsed in Exceptional Children education. I was fortunate to represent my school and county as an A.V.I.D. Instructor. AVID is a global nonprofit organization that uses strategic teaching to close achievement gaps for students from demographic groups typically underrepresented in college and other post-secondary educational settings.

Outside of my career, I enjoy traveling, reading, walking and spending quality time with my family. As I continue on this journey, I am excited about the opportunities to make a lasting impact in the lives of students and fellow educators alike.
