I have a passion for teaching, and I believe there is no greater satisfaction than seeing a student succeed.

In my 20-year career as a college English professor, I've taught thousands of students the beauty of literature and the craft of writing. I have worked as a book editor as well as being a published writer, and I currently tutor in-person for North Carolina Educational Corp and online for California Educational Corp as an ESL tutor and school interview coach.

I have a Bachelor's degree from Wilmington College and a Master's degree from Wright State University. I have a successful record as a reading and writing specialist as well as preparing students for taking the next academic step.
