I am a graduate of Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. I received my Bachelor of Arts in English Literature with a focus on nonfiction writing. Since graduation, I have worked as an acquisitions editor at a nonfiction publisher. Most recently, I have worked as an editorial assistant where I helped select high-quality children's literature. I am most passionate about Literature and English as a Second Language. As a Venezuelan immigrant, I have personal experience with language barriers and understand the challenges of learning English as a non-native speaker. I am passionate about creating an inclusive and diverse learning environment, and I am dedicated to helping non-native English speakers thrive academically. My own experiences have fueled my commitment to providing supportive and effective English language instruction to students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
