I am currently studying at Regent University, VA to earn my B.A. in Secondary Ed. with an emphasis in social and political science. In the past, I have worked as a substitute teacher and history tutor. In my occupation as a youth coordinator, I design curriculum that psychologically and practically supports child learning. I believe tutoring is the privilege of making learning flexible and adaptively personal to students' needs. History, government, and philosophy can be dull topics, but by developing an effective system, I hope to make them exciting and memorable. Social science and philosophy are among my favorite subjects because they focus on how people think and how that impacts the world we live in. I am passionate about assisting students to not simply learn, but also thoroughly understand academic material. Even now, as I myself continue to learn, I hope to model for students how it is an exciting process and help them in their own learning journey.

Hobbies

Some fun facts about me: I am in college at the moment and enjoy philosophical conversations with people, reading in my favorite library corners, and asking deep questions. When I am not busy being a student, I enjoy music and cooking. I love visiting the beach and taking hikes. I'm always up for learning something new and going on an adventure. The newest thing right now is learning how to play ukulele and lyre.
