My strengths are in remediation and teaching the following: Phonological awareness, decoding, sight word recognition and comprehension (activating background knowledge, vocabulary instruction, verbal reasoning). In math I enjoy tutoring 1st-4th grade students. I have experience teaching Bridges, Math Expressions, and Envision. I am passionate about inspiring others to learn and meet their goals for success! My strengths are building positive relationships with both students and parents; differentiating instruction to meet students where they are and using data to create positive changes in my teaching style and adjusting curriculum so students can reach their full potential. My greatest accomplishment is watching a student grow and succeed!
