Hi, I'm Mehmet. I graduated as the valedictorian of my class from medical school. I have achieved a score of 266 on the USMLE Step 2 CK and 251 on Step 1. Before my graduation, I participated in research for 18 months at a Harvard-affiliated lab. I tutor a broad range of subjects related to Medicine, covering both STEP 1 and STEP 2 CK topics, as well as shelf exams.

My tutoring experience started as I tutored my peers in medical school, being the top-ranked student in my class. I was also involved in preparing easy-to-digest and up-to-date learning materials for my classmates. As I developed a strong passion for tutoring, I participated in the Mentor-Mentee program during medical school as a mentor. I strongly believe every student can achieve their goals as long as they have the appropriate mindset, which I try to help them acquire.

My tutoring philosophy: I'm truly passionate about teaching not just the facts, but also the reasons behind them and how to apply this knowledge. My focus extends beyond merely reciting facts. I emphasize understanding what's being asked and strategizing approaches to questions, as well as building your confidence in test-taking. Knowing your material is crucial for exams, but figuring out the best way to tackle those tests is equally important if you aim to achieve your goals. I tailor my tutoring to help each student learn from their errors, improve their time management skills, and approach each test with confidence.
