I have been an educator in Utah for four years. I received a Bachelor's degree majoring in Secondary English Education. Teaching has been a passion of mine since I began my teaching journey. I love working with my students and watching them grow in their knowledge, skills, and confidence. I have previous skill completing the ACT and can help students with the English test. My job as an educator has been to help struggling and gifted readers and writers advance in their skills using different strategies as well as focusing on each students' specific needs. I specifically teach a class designated for low readers to help them reach grade level for the last three years now. I have watched students lacking confidence in their reading skills grow to the point they are able to hold deep, high-level academic discussions with their peers based on topics read in class.
